When feeding fish with fish pellets, we need to pay attention to the following issues: water quality and dissolved oxygen in the fish pond, properly adjusting the feeding amount, choosing pellet feeds of different diameters, and pay attention to supplementing vitamins and other substances.
Lima machinery has been in the fish feed pellet industry for nearly ten years, focusing on the production of fish food extruded pellet machines. In addition, our factory has dozens of different fish feed pellet production line solutions for customers to choose from. After continuous communication with customers, our feed pellet machine has received praise from customers, especially those in Africa and South Asia. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us, our professional technicians are more than happy to help you.
1. Pay attention to the water quality and dissolved oxygen in the fish pond
It is found that the water quality has deteriorated, and water should be added in time to improve the water quality of the fish pond. The dissolved oxygen per liter of water in a fish pond is generally required to be above 4 mg. If it is less than 4 mg, oxygen should be added to the fish pond.
2. Pay attention to adjusting the feeding amount
The feeding amount should be appropriately increased or decreased according to the change in water temperature because the water temperature is related to the food intake of the fish. The high water temperature causes the fish to eat more food, and vice versa. The water temperature is above 10℃, and the feeding amount can account for 3% to 4% of the total weight of the pond fish.
3. Pay attention to choosing pellets of different diameters
Fish of different sizes should be fed pellets of different diameters. Generally, fish with a body length of 4 to 6 cm should be fed pellets with a diameter of 0.5 mm; for fish with a length of 7 to 8 cm, pellets with a diameter of 3 mm should be fed.
4. Pay attention to vitamin supplements
This is because the vitamins are destroyed during the production of pellet feed. Therefore, when using pellets to raise fish, a small amount of vitamin-rich green feed should be fed to supplement the deficiency of vitamins.
